The Museum contains a unique and private collection property of Alberto Castoldi and Giovanni Antonio Sanna. There are many objects for men and women, traditional Sardinian jewels and archaeological finds. Amulets of various types and origins, like “sabeggia” and “spuligadentes”, show how the magic is always present in Sardinian culture. The museum is in the ex Office of Geology of Montevecchio – Arbus.

The building was built at the end of ‘40s as the seat of the “Service of Geology and Minerals ” of the mining society “Montevecchio – Società Italiana del Piombo e dello Zinco” that owned the mines, it was restored in 2004. The exposition is managed by the Association Zampa Verde and Ceas Centro Educazione Ambientale Ingurtosu – Arbus.
