Mount Arcuentu and Piscinas Sic are 11.486kms wide. Its territory is heterogeneous because of the presence of various and typical Sardinian areas: sea regions, sandy beaches, the dune, the mountain and the plane area which lead until the foot of Mount Arcuentu.

The presence of these different zones, among which there are still wide natural areas, keeps high levels of biodiversity of the region.

Thanks to the morphology of the territory, there are different types of flora and fauna. A thick Mediterranean scrub on the mount that alternates to fields for pastures, while on the top, holm-oaks and oak woods. In the coastal area there is the Posidonia Oceanica.

The fauna is characterized by one of the last groups of Sardinian deer.
