The archaeological site of San Lussorio was discovered in 2009 during restoration works of the same square.

It is a site with different lays and it is made up of a thermal building and a cemetery of the Roman Imperial Age, a church and a cemetery of the Spanish age, about XVII century. the modern settlement is on the Roman Imperial one over some ancient graves.

These ruins have given further and more important information to the village of Arbus: they have confirmed, in fact, that the area was inhabited since the Roman age.
